On Taking Chances

What would happen if you took those chances that you frequently ignore or even are too afraid to take? Not the chances that you don’t take because they are dangerous, but the ones where you have to be vulnerable.

I’ve said recently that fear is stupid, yet we listen to it and take it’s advice so often. It lies to us, and yet we are so quick to believe it.

What if, instead, we allowed ourselves to be awkward and tell someone we love them. What if we listened to our inner voice prompting us to say hello to a stranger. Stop asking what if!

I’m not saying we should be reckless or don’t use common sense, but there are so many things that we don’t do that we wish we did because we’re scared of… something. Something that we honestly shouldn’t be scared of.

Sometimes we are more concerned with staying comfortable. We don’t grow when we are comfortable. Stop staying comfortable, nothing amazing happens there.
