This blog is a place not only for me to talk about Jesus and what he’s doing in my life, but to share my journey in life itself. Theology and Ministry, Sports, Leadership, Musings, Inspirations, Motivations, Updates, and maybe a few Life Hacks here and there. I like to just share myself and I share things I like: videos, music, images. The things posted here are pretty much just all the noise in my head that I want to organize (or else I become a bit of a scatterbrain). Want to know a little more about me right now?

A self-proclaimed Social Media Guru and former Senior Sports Analysis. I am also a chronic live-tweeter, with tendencies to creep on blogs and social media outlets (where I read but don’t always respond or comment).  I love video games, sports of any kind, surfing the net, listening to 80s music, watching movies even though I probably won’t like them, and watching those few TV shows that I just can’t miss. I love to Twitter, checking out what’s on the front page of Reddit, and seeing what the newest shirt available on Woot. I am a die hard Cowboys and Rangers fan and will always cheer for all the other Dallas-area sports teams. The only non-Dallas team I cheer for is Chelsea FC of the English Football Premier League and sometimes it feels like I’m the only supporter in the world.

Shut Up and Dance by WALK THE MOON is currently my top song, but my favorite song of all time is Pushing Me Away by Linkin Park. I wish I could eat mac and cheese every day! Unfortunately, I’ve never time traveled. Coke, RC Cola, and Sunkist Orange are my sodas of choice. I sing-along to my favorite songs in the car all the time, no shame. I could watch nothing but the original Star Wars movies all day, every day. My favorite show of all time is Seinfeld, it doesn’t matter how many times I’ve seen an episode, I still think they are funny (Breaking Bad comes in a close second). I’m very opinionated and usually not afraid to share my opinions, but I also love hearing others opinions as well. I always wondered what it would be like to be a ninja. I work in Student Ministry and I love it! The kids I get to hang out with and invest in mean the world to me. I used to hate texting, but now I can’t see how we lived without it. Golf is easily the hobby I spend most my money on, even though I’m terrible at it, I also try to play racquetball regularly. I’m awesome at NCAA Football and GTA, okay at Halo, but no matter how hard I try, I am terrible at Call of Duty (all of them). I never realized how much I love cheeseburgers until my first trip to England. I am also a bit of a BBQ connoisseur, I am always up for some good Texas brisket. If could live anywhere else in the world (other than Dallas) it would be Central London.

I like meeting people who inspire me and who think differently than I do – I take it as a chance for me to take in some fresh perspectives and a chance to grow. I have a few close friends that I wouldn’t trade for the world, but I also love meeting new people and reconnecting with old friends. Some people invest money but I like to invest in people. Some people say “leaders are readers,” and when I was younger I came to the conclusion that if I wanted to be a leader I need to read. So I read, probably way too many books at one time.

And last but not least- I am completely, 100%, souled out for Jesus. My rock, my provider, my strength. He is enough, no matter what.

P.S.: Go Cowboys!
